Friday Art Group

Our Friday Art Group began in Mon’s class at Artistree in Pomfret, Vermont, where we discovered an instant chemistry and a shared passion for creative expression. What began as a class became a circle of women artists who meet regularly to explore, experiment, and encourage one another. We create in different mediums, but share the same values: individuality, creative freedom, mutual support, and staying connected to the world that shapes us. In Vermont, that world is the mountains, is the deep quiet of the woods, the shifting light over open fields, and the small but vital communities that thrive here.

Off the Asphalt

In Vermont, when someone says you live “off the asphalt,” it means you probably live up a mountain on a dirt road. For us, it’s a way of living as individuals—choosing a simpler pace, embracing solitude or community as the moment calls for, and finding inspiration in the landscapes that surround us.
